Pursuant to section 2001(i)(2) of the ARP Act, the Chattooga County Board of Education will take public input on its “Return to In-person Instruction Plan” for the 2021-2022 school year. The purpose of this input is to help determine if any revisions to the plan are necessary at this time. The meeting will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 21, 2021 at the Chattooga County Education Center, located at 206 Penn Street in Summerville, Georgia.
Pursuant to State Code Section 20-2-51, the Chattooga County Board of Education will hold a called public hearing on Thursday, October 21, 2021, at 5:30 p.m. The purpose of the meeting will be to provide an opportunity for full discussion and public input on the issue of potential nepotism. The discussion will focus on the promotion of an immediate family member of a Board of Education member to an administrative position within the District. The meeting will be held at the Chattooga County Education Center located at 206 Penn Street in Summerville, Georgia.
