Winter Weather
Chattooga County Schools will be closed on Friday, January 10, 2025, due to the forecasted winter storm. Friday will be a Learn from Home Day for students; please refer to your child’s Learn from Home guide for assignments. All events scheduled for Friday and Saturday are also canceled to ensure the safety of our students, staff, and community. We will continue monitoring the weather and share updates as needed. Welcome Back!
Welcome Back! Final Semester Begins January 8th Dear Parents and Guardians, I hope you and your families had a wonderful Christmas break and enjoyed the New Year holiday. We have truly missed seeing the kids around school and are excited to welcome everyone back on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, as we begin the final semester of the school year. Please note that the weather forecast predicts extremely cold temperatures for the upcoming week. To ensure your children stay warm and comfortable, kindly make sure they are bundled up with appropriate winter clothing, including coats, hats, gloves, and scarves. We’re looking forward to a great semester ahead and can’t wait to see all the students back in the classroom, ready to finish the year strong!
