    Congratulations to the GA Young Author Grade Level Winners. K-Amiyah Wooten (Groce), 1-Z'Niyah Mitchell (Grace), 2-Payton Cameron (Little), 3-Xaylon Rollins (Campbell), 4-Kelsey Lowe (Hancock), 5-Isabel Koonce (Cooper). These writer's pieces will no be judged for the Chattooga County winners. Those winners will move on to the District Competition.

    In response to the compelling body of research that underscores the importance of school climate, Georgia is the first state in the nation to include school climate as an early indicator in it's academic accountilibity system (CCRPI). The School Climate Star Rating is a diagnostic tool to determine if a school is on the right path to school improvement. Above is a link for parents to provide input on LMES's school climate.
