Math Happenings!!!!

  Your child received Drops #15 for homework on Wednesday, October 19th.  It will be due Wednesday, Oct. 26th.  All homework is written in the agenda on Wednesdays.  Please check agendas for notes and other important information.  In math, we are working on various ways to solve multiplication problems (arrays, repeated addition, commutative property, drawing pictures and the good old fashioned way!!)  We are focusing on our 9's facts.   Please encourage your child to study their multiplication facts.  I have some flashcards they can borrow and we can make some at school if you do not have any at home.  Let me know and I will help get you some. Knowing their multiplication facts is very important this year, we will do and are doing a lot to learn them in class. We will be moving on to our 8's in the next week or so.  Thank you for all your help and concern for your children!!   If you need anything or have any questions feel free to contact me via e-mail or at school.
