    When you come to our Reading class you will see the following activities in our Reading Workshop:
    1) Mini-lesson - here we teach the Reading Standards
    2) Work period - here you will see many things going on....guided reading, readers notebook, reading activites on the computer, AR reading, and literacy centers just to name a few.
    3) Closing - here we share what we have learned from the days lesson.

  • Reading Homework

    Each child has to pass 3 AR tests every week this nine weeks! They need to read an AR book every night and have an adult sign their agendas. In their agenda they need to write the name of the book and how many minutes they read.

  • Homework Sheet

    Every Friday I give your child a homework sheet that they put in their agenda. The following things are on this
    homework sheet: Spelling words, list of homework , parent/guardian notes and class news. Also, I put this on this website in case your child loses their HW sheet.
