The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe

I really enjoyed the projects my students turned in this week and last week. They were assigned to create a wardrobe like the one in the C.S. Lewis novel The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.  The students were very creative, using materials found around the house such as cereal boxes, shoe boxes and other cardboard boxes. Thanks to the parents who got involved and went out on a limb and actually helped their children build wooden wardrobes !!! I'm very proud of all my students. We look forward to the next novel in our author study.  CK
