Georgia Tech Partnership: click here for article & video
CEISMC and STEM@GTRI launched an innovative Computer Science for Rural Georgia High Schools Pilot Program, with Chattooga High School as a key participant in this initiative. Through this project, rural high schools across Georgia, including Chattooga High School, gain access to computer science modules based on unique programs and resources at Georgia Tech, developed and led by Georgia Tech faculty.
Recently, members of Georgia Tech visited Chattooga High School both in person and remotely to observe the program in action, documenting the experience through interviews and video footage. The finished product of this visit has now been released to the public and can be found at the link below. Through this collaboration, Georgia Tech is empowering the next generation of tech-savvy leaders, fostering interest in computer science fields, and opening doors to exciting career opportunities.
Chattooga High School and Chattooga County Schools are deeply appreciative of the opportunity to participate in the Computer Science for Rural Georgia High Schools Pilot Program. We are excited about the impact this program is already making and look forward to continuing our partnership with Georgia Tech to expand access to cutting-edge computer science education in our community.
