Board of Education

The Chattooga County Board of Education is the governing body of the Chattooga County School District. The responsibilities of the Board are school district policies, budget approval, and fulfilling other legal duties which are executed under the direction of the school superintendent, Dr. Michelle Helie. The Chattooga County Board of Education consists of five members who are elected by district to staggered, four-year terms.  The Chattooga County Board of Education convenes for regular sessions monthly on the third Thursday of the month.
